 Zanta

All pictures shot on an iPhone.

Zanta is a word in (Tigrinya), my native tongue, which means story.

Since as far as I can remember I've been intrigued by stories and storytelling.

There is something magical about stories that we are told and stories that we share with each other, that invites the other into a memory, a place, a feeling or an experience. Zanta is a space where I share the stories of my adventures through visual postcards from some of my travel.

Calling this section Zanta is therefore, an ode to the origin of my story, Eritrea, the land that gave birth to my earthly creators and ancestors. Travel is something that I’m very passionate about and it is a hobby that has helped me a lot in my own self-development journey.

To consistently put myself in new environments, experience new cultures, languages and customs through travel has positively contributed towards my growth and understanding of people and the world. Traveling is also the utmost form of play and relaxation for me and I feel absolutely fortunate to be able to travel and explore as much as I do.
